Google AdMob

AdMob is Google's mobile advertising platform. If the Android app uses AdMob, its actual SDK configuration, consent flow and Data Safety declaration must match the app's behavior.

app-ads.txt

AdMob expects the app-ads.txt file at the root of the developer website. Google says the developer website must be connected to the app's store listing so AdMob can discover the file.

Current site files include both app-ads.txt and ads.txt. The publisher ID in those files must be copied from your own AdMob account; Google specifically warns that an incorrect or missing publisher ID prevents verification.

Verification

After publishing the website and adding it as the developer website in Google Play Console, AdMob may need time to crawl and verify app-ads.txt. Google says this can take up to 24 hours.
